Workers compensation claims, both new and current claims. Our GPs can assess workplace injuries, complete the necessary documentation to initiate or continue a workers compensation claim, provide certificates of capacity, and manage your ongoing treatment and recovery in line with WorkCover Queensland requirements. Insurance reports, medical reports prepared for life insurance, income protection, total and permanent disability (TPD), and other insurance purposes, completed at the request of the patient or their insurer. Legal and medico-legal reports, clinical reports and medico-legal assessments prepared at the request of legal practitioners, including independent medical assessments and reports relevant to personal injury matters. Return to work support, ongoing GP management and documentation to support a safe and appropriate return to work following a workplace injury, in collaboration with your employer, insurer, and any treating specialists.

If you have been injured at work, our GPs can assess your injury, provide appropriate treatment, and complete the documentation required to lodge a new workers compensation claim with WorkCover Queensland. For patients with existing claims, our GPs can continue your management, issue certificates of capacity, complete progress reports, and liaise with your employer and insurer as required.

Report preparation times may vary depending on the complexity of the request and the clinical records involved. Our team will advise you of any fees associated with report preparation at the time of your request, as these services are generally not covered by Medicare or DVA.
To ensure your appointment is as efficient and productive as possible, please bring any relevant documentation including your claim number if you have an existing WorkCover claim; correspondence from your insurer or legal practitioner outlining the scope of the report required; any previous medical reports, imaging results, or specialist letters relevant to your claim or injury; and your Medicare card and any applicable concession or DVA cards.
